Senior Health Systems Director (West)
Job Description
The Alzheimer’s Association is seeking a passionate and results-oriented Senior Health Systems Director to lead our efforts in engaging health systems across Area West. This leadership role is pivotal in advancing our mission by executing a robust sales strategy aimed at integrating our products, programs and services within health systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in healthcare sales, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for improving the lives of those affected by Alzheimer's disease and dementia. This is a US remote position (targeting candidates who are on the West coast or Midwest, near a major metropolitan city) with travel.
Responsibilities
Essential functions and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Leadership and Sales Management: Hires and manages assigned Health Systems sales positions, including direct supervision of Health Systems Directors and Health Systems Account Managers.
- Drive System Readiness and Improvement: Coach, manage and lead sales team to engage health systems, including hospitals, integrated delivery networks, payers and accountable care organizations to achieve the Alzheimer's Association's objectives to improve Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementia (ADRD) patient care. Health System readiness and improvement include, but are not limited to: increasing health system awareness of the crisis in dementia care and its impact on their business, improving care through changes in policy, protocol and workflow, the implementation of clinical practice guidelines for timely and accurate ADRD detection, diagnosis, disclosure, and care.
- Revenue Generation and Sales Execution: Drive revenue growth through the execution of effective sales strategies, managing a robust sales pipeline to achieve and exceed sales targets. Revenue drivers include, but are not limited to: products, roundtables and development programs and events.
- Industry Analysis Management: Work with Health Systems Sales leadership to ensure, using industry and market data, that resources, personnel and efforts are focused on the highest opportunities to drive Association health systems goals.
- Sales Strategy Management, Prioritization and Execution: Assess, enhance and grow health system pipeline. Understand Association priorities and products and drive sales results with health systems by analyzing and understanding health system account ADRD readiness, capacity, gaps and needs.
- Collaboration and Integration: Collaborate with internal teams and key stakeholders to align health system sales initiatives with organizational priorities and objectives.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor key metrics to measure the effectiveness and impact of health system sales efforts. Ensure team is entering data which will provide regular performance reports.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Required Education, Bachelor’s degree
- Required Years of Experience; Minimum of 8 years of experience in health system sales, business development, or a related field, with a proven track record of success in driving revenue growth and establishing strategic partnerships
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 40% within the United States, by car or plane
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong sales acumen with a deep understanding of the healthcare market, including familiarity with health systems, hospitals, and related entities.
- Outstanding leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on mentoring and developing sales professionals.
- Knowledge of health systems operations, including quality improvement, person-centered care, access to care, and payment and policy issues
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building and maintaining relationships with C-suite executives and key stakeholders.
- Proficiency in market analysis, forecasting, and strategic planning to drive sales initiatives and organizational growth.
- Ability to acquire and manage accounts and successfully sell and market products.
- Skill in influencing, motivating and facilitating groups and individuals to achieve desired outcomes

Position Location: US Based Remote
Full time based on 37.5 hours per week minimum
Position Grade: 511 Exempt (Estimated Annual Salary $140,000 - $160,000)
