General Summary:


This position provides direct supervision to Alzheimer’s Association programs and services staff and
provides support services to constituents. This position oversees quality assurance of all services
offered under the program for Individuals with Developmental Disabilities and dementia (IDD/D),
identifies areas to enhance the support offered to them, identifies opportunities for program
improvement, and establishes best practices for all services related to this program. Additionally, this
position provides grants management and is responsible for deliverables for a variety of funding
streams (includes care consultations, social engagement activities, community education, support
groups and conferences).


Essential Job Functions:


? Provides supervision to programs and services staff.
? Provides support to individuals with IDD/D.
? Schedules and provides monthly Face to Face visits, education to care teams and attend
biannual ISP meetings.
? Conducts QA exercises to ensure the highest quality of services are being delivered.
? Meets all evaluation and documentation requirements.
? Coaches and guides the programs and services team to ensure consistency and quality in
service delivery and program deliverables.
? Recruits, hires and trains new employees that fall under this program.
? Ensures compliance with all existing and evolving regulations from OPWDD.
? Actively participates as a member of the management team to ensure effective integration of
strategic directions into program work plans.
? Provides management level leadership and training for program and services staff meetings and
the development and oversight of assigned organization programs and services, including
planning, and program evaluation.
? Assists with reports as needed.
? Represents the Alzheimer’s Association at public events, conferences, workshops, and media
? Maintains oversight of essential statistical program services data necessary for funders review
and external service providers.
? Directs and evaluates the diversity and inclusiveness efforts of program delivery.
? Assures compliance with all Alzheimer’s Association policies, procedures, standards and
applicable regulatory requirements.
? Other duties as assigned.


Minimum Requirements:

? Advanced Degree in Social Work, Gerontology, Education, Nursing, Social Sciences or Health
Care Administration preferred. Bachelors required.
? 3-5 years of supervisory experience in human services
? Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written skills.
? Ability to work independently, as a team and be self-motivated.
? Experience working in health care and long term care a plus.
? Strong public speaking and communication skills.
? Background working collaboratively with external service providers and developing community
? Empathy for individuals with dementia and their caregivers.
? Computer skills are essential in Word, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher and
Adobe PDF format.
? Driver’s license, car and proof of insurance
