Marketing & Communications Intern

 

 

 

Summary:

 

The Marketing/Communications Intern supports the mission of the Alzheimer’s Association Cleveland Area Chapter to eliminate Alzheimer’s disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected in northeast Ohio; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health. The Marketing & Communications Intern will assist the Marketing & Communications Manager with editing, social media posts, capturing video, research, and graphic design in a collaborative, hands-on environment.    

 

 

 

Duties:  

 

Create mission and event postcards/flyers using InDesign

 

Create The Longest Day deliverables using InDesign

 

Capture short video testimonials via smartphone to promote care and support services

 

 

 

Time Commitment:

 

Spring 2019 Semester (approx. January 15 - May 1) 

 

8-15 hours a week, weekdays between 8:30 am- 4:30 pm 

 

Flexible with school/work schedule

Qualifications:

 

College Junior/Senior 

 

Communications, Marketing or Graphic Design major, preferred 

 

Proficient in InDesign 

 

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, preferred Proficient in Google applications, preferred 

 

 

Additional Skills Valued: 

 

Knowledge and/or experience or interest in Alzheimer’s disease
